✂️ Clicker Into Your Model

Take a model you already have and cut a working click mechanism into it. The tool splits it, checks that enough wall is left, and hands back two printable halves.

The model▾

Any closed model works, as long as it has material to spare where the mechanism sits. Decimate a very heavy model before uploading it.

Mechanism▾

Material

PETG is the default — it bends a long way before it fatigues. PLA gives a sharper click but is brittle, and a fidget gets pressed thousands of times.

Lip depth (mm)How far the lip reaches in — this is what the ridge has to pass. Deeper means a stronger click and more strain on the fingers.Travel (mm)How far the button moves between its two resting states.

Printer plate size

Print each half with its cut face down — that way the fingers and the ridge come out with no supports and nothing needs cleaning up inside the bore. Push the two halves together until they click; pull them apart for the second click.
