# Written offer for the corresponding source (GPL-2.0 §3b)

CraftWizard distributes a WebAssembly build of **OpenSCAD**, licensed under the
**GNU General Public License, version 2 or later**. The full licence text is in `./LICENSE`.

## Where to get the source

The corresponding source for the binaries in this directory is publicly available:

| Binary here | Corresponding source |
|---|---|
| `openscad.wasm`, `openscad.js`, `openscad.wasm.js`, `openscad.d.ts` — OpenSCAD build **2025.03.25**, obtained from https://files.openscad.org/playground/ | OpenSCAD: https://github.com/openscad/openscad · WASM packaging: https://github.com/openscad/openscad-wasm |
| `openscad.wasm.OLD2022` — OpenSCAD build **2022.03**, kept only for rollback | same repositories, 2022.03 tag |

The build also links OpenSCAD's own dependencies (Manifold, CGAL, Eigen, Boost and others) under
their respective licences; see the upstream `COPYING` and `doc/` for the complete list.

## Written offer

For any recipient of these binaries: **for at least three (3) years** from the date the binary was
distributed to you, CraftWizard will provide, on request, a complete machine-readable copy of the
corresponding source code for the exact build above, for no more than our cost of physically
performing the distribution.

To request it, contact: **motti.bendavid@gmail.com** (subject: "OpenSCAD source request").

## Modifications

CraftWizard has **not modified** the OpenSCAD source. The binaries are redistributed as obtained
from the upstream URLs above. The only local additions in this directory are this file, `LICENSE`
and `LICENSES.md`.

## Separation from CraftWizard's own code

OpenSCAD is invoked as a **standalone program**: it runs inside a dedicated Web Worker, receives a
`.scad` source string, and returns geometry (OFF/STL). CraftWizard's application code communicates
with it only across that interface and is not linked into it. Geometry produced by running OpenSCAD
is the user's own output and is not covered by the GPL.
